I’m feeling a bit more queasy today. It’s not horrible but I feel it. Hopefully, it doesn’t get any worse than this. And my scalp is sore — I’ve read that this happens prior to hair loss so I guess I’m right on track for that. I haven’t received my new hair in the mail, though, so I hope it gets here soon!
Other than the queasiness and the sore scalp, I feel fine. I wish I wasn’t having this experience at all . . . but I’m okay.

I am thinking of you. Glad things went relatively well for the first time. Wish you didn’t have to do it at all, but I know you are strong and can handle it will the calmness that is Jacki. You mentioned your organization and being prepared to go to your treatment, I had to laugh because that is one word I would always use to describe you “organized”. You are an inspiration to so many. Remember, I’ve offered to shave my head too! I keep thinking of you sleeping in there with the weight of this on your mind all day long. You are our hero every day, don’t feel like you need to keep that pace up all the time – accept the help, take the naps, and sleep in. If it’s any consolation, your hair will grow back, I’m watching mine slip away and I know it’s not coming back. After this is over, we can take a vacation on the archipelago that used to be my hairline. Love, me
It is interesting and insightful to read your web log. I give you a lot of credit for sharing so much. I have been reading a lot more about breast cancer since you were diagnosed and your spirit sounds positive. I hope your new hair arrives soon… I wonder if you ordered a color and style similar to your natural look… or are you trying something new and bold.
