My oncologist told me today at my six-month follow-up that he couldn’t be happier with my progress. Ditto, I say. He told me it’s almost like I’m back to normal life. Ditto, again.
Gosh, I really don’t have much more to report on my personal cancer front, which is such very good news.

Just got updated on your blog. Was wondering how the recovery from the surgery was going. So glad everything is getting back to “normal”. Glad you are feeling well and finally standing. I am so happy for you at what you have become since the surgery. You were a great person and friend before cancer stepped into your life, and I can tell by the way you write about this adventure, you have become even a better person and friend. You constantly think about others in your life and how the decisions you make will benefit those around you. I so wish our paths in life could have kept us closer together on the map, but I still consider you to be a very best friend. Take care!

This is wonderful news, Jackie and my wish for you is that it will stop being news at all. Looks like you really responded very well to all the treatments. I told you before, I’m Her2+ like you and probably worry more than others about recurrence. I look to you as a constant source of hope and a reminder that I’ve got to exercise more (hehe). What check ups do you go through? Mammo and Ultrasound only or does your doctor order scans and bloodwork?
