Tomorrow is my birthday, and today I had a mammogram that looked perfectly pretty. The technician who delivered my results sang “Happy Birthday” to me, and I must say it feels pretty good to have almost reached the age of 39 when at the age of 34, I wasn’t so sure I’d live very long at all. Time to celebrate — should have kept that party dress I’m wearing in the photo above!
Happy birthday! What a great gift-health! Hope you do something fabulous to celebrate.
Hmmm, maybe you should just buy yourself a brand new party dress!! Congrats!!
Happy Birthday! Thanks for continuing to share your journey.
Congrats on your “pretty” mammo
Here’s to many more healthy years!
I’m glad your mammo was clean! So was my boyfriend’s prostate biopsy.
Now I am sending healthy vibes to my best friend who is also a breast cancer survivor. She has to have a uteran biopsy tomorrow.
I wish you could understand Portuguese, so that I could express all the good things i wish for you. Most of all I wish you a long life. You deserve the gift of seeing your children graduating, marrying, having their own children. This last part is the part I shoul already be wainting for, but I am not,,, It will take a few months till my daughter in law can get pregnant. last year, when I was startinh my way with my breast cancer I asked the doctor if it woul be possible to live long enough to know a grandchild. he granted me so:) Happy birthday!
Being a radiologist, I deliver good news and bads news a lot. To me, as a human, I have a profound empathy for people especially the ones who have to hear the bad news. But for me, it is just another day at the office. For my patients, it is a life changing event in their lives. Seeing you, in the goofy gown shooting a picture of yourself in the mirror with an iphone made this very poignant for me.
