My skin did pretty well during radiation. For weeks, nothing at all happened, and then at the very end of my 30+ days of treatment, a mild burn showed up. No blistering, though, or peeling, or anything else that made me horribly uncomfortable.
You (or those you know who are getting zapped) might not fare so well. Lucky you (actually two of you!), because right here, right now, you can enter to win a free tube of Jeans Cream. I love Jean’s Cream. I used it during radiation and recommend it to anyone who is going through radiation. It was recommended to me by my radiation oncologist and I used it three or four times daily during treatment and had minimal skin issues. It is relatively expensive for skin lotion and I did need to purchase it at a pharmacy – no prescription required – but well worth every penny.
I’ve not heard of this cream before! I would love to try it out! I have 9 more sessions to go. My skin looks pretty good but I would love to have the results that you had!
I have a friend who just had a mastectomy and will soon start chemo and then radiation. My skin held up pretty well during radiation but I wuld love for her to try Jean’s Cream.
thanks
love your blog

I am on day three of radiation …. and am a fair skinned red head, when I have hair, it is slowly returning after chemo, so I am excited to learn of this cream at the beginning of my radiation regimen. Thanks for all you share on your blog. Bless you. Debbie
I have breast cancer and am in the middle of my chemo treatments. I will then begin radiation. I am extremely interested in the cream. Your blog has been amazing in helping me to find those tips and tricks to get through my battle. Thanks for your time and effort!
I’d like to win this cream for my friend Chris who was just recently diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a mastectomy at the beginning of January. She was first said to have Stage 2, but they just bumped it up to Stage 3 and she’s looking at 8 months of chemo and an equally long sentence of radiation. This has been extremely difficult on her, and as someone who has been there, done that, I’m going to do everything I can to help her beat this!
Thanks!!
I am on day 4 of my radiation treatments for breast cancer and would love the cream to help avoid the ill effects I have heard about. Thank you for sharing your expertise and experiences with us.
