He was 3 years old when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Now, he is 11. Today, he graduated from fifth grade. Thank you, remission, for the chance to witness this child’s milestone.

Dear Jacki
I am the editor of a new open access journal dedicated to cancer research (www.oghreports.org) and we are launching our inaugural issue in July 2012. We would like to hear your story. The journal is circulated to a large body of clinicians and scientists and we would like to share your perspectives with the scientific community.
Please email me your writeups to editor@oghreports.org. There is no limit to the text but we prefer upto a 1,000 word limit. Photographs are welcome.
Please share this with your friends and colleagues.
regards

I’m in the middle of chemo and have 2 girls, ages 3 and 4. I just did a internet search looking for reassurance that I’ll be around for them. Thanks for blogging.

I was pretty sure I would not be around for my boys, ages 3 and 18 months at my diagnosis. But here I am, eight years later. Joey is 11, and Danny is 9. Hang in there, and be well

I am glad you stumbled up my blog
I am doing well, thanks. It’s been eight years since cancer came my way, and I’m hoping it continues to stay away!
